The NOVAL lifting shutter consists of a frame and two panels that fold into a cap above the windows to control solar gain and promote indoor comfort. In summer, it helps to regulate the temperature of the premises, in line with the RE2020 recommendations.
Our motorised lifiting shutters, sometimes also known as butterfly shutters, give façades a more attractive and uniform appearance integrating wood, aluminium or other cladding into each type of façade in a harmonious way.
A major advantage of this model is that the motorisation is fully integrated, with no visible drive parts. NOVAL motorised lifting shutter can be used for professional and technical buildings than commercial buildings or open to the public.

Motorised roller shutters optimise solar gain naturally, depending on the season.
In summer, The shutter acts as a cap over the window. It blocks direct rays when the sun is high, limiting overheating inside and reducing the need for air conditioning, while preserving light.
In winter, When the sun is lower, the raised shutter lets the sun's rays into the building. The solar gains contribute to the natural heating of the spaces, improving thermal comfort and energy performance.
Thanks to motorisation, building automation and sensors, the orientation and position of the shutter can be adjusted automatically according to sunlight, temperature or time of day, for optimised passive energy management.
