Integrating the lift-up shutter into a dense facade complex meant adapting the support frames and hinge systems. In the closed position, the grid is maintained and the building is transformed into a set of homogeneous cubes.
When raised, it provides an unobstructed view of the outside world, while significantly reducing heat gain. This school complex, at the heart of a new eco-neighbourhood, is one of the first passive schools of its kind in France.
